REUSABLE PLATFORM CAPABILITY

One integration, built once, reused across a dozen use cases.

Designed a first-of-its-kind integration between TytoCare’s remote exam device and Microsoft Teams — a capability that became the foundation for virtual visits, consults, and statewide school-based telehealth.

Clinicians live in Teams. Exams needed a connected device.

Clinicians were already living in Microsoft Teams, but remote physical exams needed a connected device like TytoCare — and no reusable integration existed to bring exam data into a clinician’s existing video workflow without forcing a separate app or a clunky handoff.

A platform capability, not a one-off integration.

Architected a reusable integration pattern connecting TytoCare’s exam device directly into Microsoft Teams virtual visits, so clinicians could run a guided exam without leaving the tool they already used every day. Built it as a platform capability from the start, so it could be reconfigured for new use cases without a rebuild.

From virtual visits to a statewide program, with no core rework.

First used for standard virtual visits and consults, then extended — with no core rework — into statewide school-based telehealth programs in South Carolina and Oklahoma.

The foundation under multiple product lines.

A 40% reduction in virtual-visit abandonment, and a single integration that now underpins multiple product lines and two statewide programs.
